I am so happy to tell you about something very special that I am involved in – Gilda’s Gang, a training program for the Country Music 1/2 Marathon on April 24, 2010. While I am no longer able to participate as a walker in the event – I will be among the many "Gilda Groupies" cheering for The Gang on race day! I have also pledged to raise $750 for Gilda’s Club Nashville, where people living with cancer receive free social and emotional support

Gilda’s Club Nashville's purpose is to offer to their members lectures, workshops, classes, support groups and social activities in a non-residential, homelike setting. Free of charge to everyone, Gilda’s Club Nashville provides a gathering place where people with cancer and their families and friends can join with others to actively involve themselves in building social and emotional support as a supplement to regular medical care.
